Shengtian Zheng - Managing Editor
Zheng is a respected artist, curator, and scholar, and the Managing Editor of Yishu - Journal of Contemporary Chinese Art. Formerly a professor at the China Academy of Art, he has played a key role in fostering cultural exchange between China and the West. Based in Vancouver since 1990, Zheng has curated major international exhibitions and remains a leading voice in contemporary Chinese art.
Yishu - Journal of Contemporary Chinese Art
The first English-language publication dedicated to contemporary Chinese art. Founded in 2002 and based in Vancouver, Yishu featured over 500 artists and published interviews, and commentary that spotlight the ideas and practices shaping Chinese art today.
